Your Hand Is All I Have

Hello & welcome to the ~~incredible~~ fanfiction, fanart, and fan-video journal of

katia_san! This would be the place where Katia goes to post all her ~~fanworks~~ crap, such as drabbles, AMVs, and the occasional scanned sketch. I would like you to know that I'm not very serious about this -- this journal is mostly just to keep all the clutter from logging up in my personal LJ. Feel free to friend this journal if you like, but don't expect much from it. I don't intend to be updating very often...Though when I create new stuff, I will post it here.

To Keep Me Hanging On

Much of the stuff you will find in this journal will be Naruto-centric. More specifically, Akatsuki-centric. It's my journal, and I can post what I want, and I want to post Narutarded stuff, so there. I also have made a handful of Avatar: The Last Airbender AMVs, and I fully intend to make more in the future. I also enjoy sketching out some characters from other fandoms as well, but the great majority of my writing will be Naruto. My sketches are usually done on white computer paper with 0.7 mechanical pencils or lead pencils, and are often inked and sometimes coloured with my EXTENSIVE (lol?) collection of pencil crayons. It really isn't all that exciting. I also write occasionally -- I'm coming out of my writing phase, so a fic will be rare at this point, but meh. I might also post snatches of fics that I feel unable to finish, just for the sake of recording them or sreating a backup in case I ever want to pick up where I left off. ;) My AMVs and slideshows are probably my most notable works, or at least I feel that way. They are also posted over at my Youtube Channel if you want to hop over there and check it out. In general, just enjoy the stuff, comment if you like, I am a comment whore but I'm not gonna freak if my posts go ignored.

Please Can You Tell Me

I'm going to try my best to make this journal as user-friendly and navigatable as possible. I will be using the tags system extensively; that's why I have that handy little sidebar on the left side of my journal for your convenience (and my sanity). Use it. It's your friend. Most of the tags will be self-explanatory; but, just because, here is a mini-dictionary to my tags system:
. katia speaks: Just what it says. These are posts with me talking about something, and not just posting a fanwork thing. These will usually be generic to-do lists, little announcements, and other posts that concern the journal/its content.
. ass: I'm not talking about your rear end, or a donkey here. I mean ASS, as in "Anime SlideShow". It's a fun little acronym invented by my friend Tycira, so you know. An acronym that I happen to love using.
. [character name; eg, Deidara] This is a fanwork containing this character. It helps to organize the journal.
. drabble claim: A drabble written for a claim challenge community. The kinds that give you a big table of prompts to write.
. challenge: a drabble written for a weekly challenge community. The kinds that hold a contest each week to see who can write the best drabble using the prompt and bonuses given.
. request: Fics/art/videos I've done as a request, or a gift for someone else.
. snatch: A short bit of unfinished fanfiction I will post if I give up on a piece, usually due to writer's block.

I hope this journal will be as easy to use as I intended! (For both you and me.) .
